Aqua Pages is a Global Community of people who love aquatic activities and causes: water sports, vacations by the shore, businesses on the water, and environmental issues related to our rives, lakes, streams, and oceans. The Aqua Pages Community comes together through a website named www.aquapages.com(Aqua Pages).
Why would someone who loves water sports use Aqua Pages?
- Find a retailer - Aqua Pages provides listings of businesses in your local area and across the globe
- Social networking - Aqua Pages lets you store/share your Aqua Profile and send messages to your friends and favorite Clubs
- Find a Club - Aqua Pages contains lists of hundreds of Clubs in a variety of sports all across the US and in international locations
- Sell old stuff - Aqua Pages offers the best place to buy and sell old items, to groups of people who participate in the same sports as you
- Locate major water sporting events - Aqua Pages offers a central place to find details on that upcoming boat show, sailing regatta, SCUBA show, fishing tournament, or surfing competition
- Solve a problem - Aqua Pages has numerous discussion Forums in each Sport that provide a means to ask and receive help on troubling sports/equipment problems

Aqua Pages is a site whose content is built Locally and used Globally. The individual items (e.g., News Items, Activities, Events, Classifieds) are added by local Aqua Pages Members. Their highlighting local news stories, competitions, classified items for sale, retailers, and so much more helps local enthusiasts, as well as people around the globe, know more about their local area.
Does it cost anything to use Aqua Pages?
No. Aqua Pages is free to use for Guests and Members. Aqua Pages also offers a free set of services to Clubs, including publicizing their Club, announcing activities and competitions, and streamlining membership management and annual renewals. Retailers, manufacturers, and service providers pay a fee for advertising.

Search by Geography
Can I search for a Person, Club, Retailer, or News Article in my local area?
Yes. All Aqua Pages searches are geography-based, allowing you to search for anything in Aqua Pages based on your locality. Also, if you want to broaden your search, you can search based on any city or even an entire country or island-country (e.g., sailing instructors on Lake Lanier, Atlanta, Georgia, deep-sea fishing operators in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, or SCUBA diving operators in Aruba).
How do I specify the location in which I want to search?
On the line labeled "Search Where", first select one of the following, and complete the boxes as indicated.
- USA
- Box 1 - Enter the City, State (or State only if you want to search the entire state)
- Note - US Territories such as Puerto Rico are treated as a 'state' for the purposes of this search
- Box 2 - Enter the name of a River, Lake, Beach, or Harbor to which you want to limit your search
- Canada
- Box 1 - Enter the City, Province (or Province only if you want to search the entire Province)
- Box 2 - Enter the name of a River, Lake, Beach, or Harbor to which you want to limit your search
- Other Countries
- Box 1 - Select the country from the pull-down menu of countries
- Box 2 - Enter the City within the specific country; states/provinces or other geographic divisions are not used for countries other than the US or Canada at this time
Can I perform a free-form search?
Yes, Use the small search bar just below the "Search What" graphic. Any words in the search bar will be used in the search. Any items that match any one of the words in the Aqua Pages data base will be returned in the Center Column for your selection. If you want Aqua Pages to search for a multi-word phrase, simply enclose the words in the phrase within quotes ("") and the words will be treated as a single search item. Free form searches done in this way will NOT use the selected geography as a search criteria.
